Learn to teach young athletes body awareness and control.

This course will provide the tools necessary to plan a comprehensive and safe workout plan for young athletes. It utilizes the book, Building the Base: A Guide to Building a Strong and Balanced Foundation for Young Athletes, by Jim Bompensa as a manual.
This course will teach you to provide the following services:

- Guide young athletes through age appropriate workouts that will prepare them for the next level of competition.
- Provide a blueprint to safely lay the foundation on which to build a balanced young athlete. 
- Provide the proper training styles at the proper life stages.
- Prepare young athletes to control their changing bodies while training and competing.
- Maintain the interest of young athletes.
- Create a muscularly balanced body, and develop a well rounded training program.
- Incorporate techniques like body weight training, agility training, plyometric training, suspension training, core stabilization, balance training, body control drills, and flexibility training.

Jim Bompensa is a lifelong athlete and fitness professional. He is the founder of Body Physics Fitness, The Haddonfield Martial Arts Academy, and BPFI. He is an author and entrepreneur. He has appeared in many media outlets including television, print, and web. Jim is a 3rd degree black belt and an Ironman Triathlete. He has worked with clients of all ages from beginners to professional athletes.
